Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by CBus AI Agents (operated by JB 563 Consulting, "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

Services

CBus AI Agents provides AI consulting, AI agent implementation, business coaching, and related technology services for small businesses. Our services include but are not limited to software setup, hardware configuration, AI agent development, and ongoing support as described on our services page and pricing page.

Engagement and Payment

All engagements begin with a free strategy call. No payment is required until a scope of work is agreed upon in writing. Key terms:

• Pricing is as listed on our pricing page or as agreed in a written proposal
• Payment is due according to the terms specified in your proposal or invoice
• Hardware costs are separate from service fees and are purchased by the client
• Ongoing support is billed monthly at the agreed rate

Ownership and Deliverables

You own everything we build for you. AI agents, vaults, systems, configurations, and all deliverables created during your engagement belong to you upon final payment. We do not retain ownership of, or lock you out of, any system we build. There are no platform fees or recurring license costs for the systems we deliver.

Data Privacy and Security

All systems we build run locally on your hardware. Your client data, financials, and business information stay on your machines. We do not store, access, or retain your business data after the engagement ends unless you explicitly request ongoing support. For full details, see our privacy policy.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful delivery of our services, you agree to:

• Provide timely access to systems, accounts, and information needed for the engagement
• Designate a point of contact for project communication
• Review and provide feedback on deliverables within a reasonable timeframe
• Maintain the security of credentials and access we configure on your behalf

Limitation of Liability

CBus AI Agents provides services on an "as is" basis. We make reasonable efforts to deliver quality work but do not guarantee specific business outcomes such as revenue increases, lead volumes, or time savings. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential. We will not share your business data, strategies, financials, or proprietary information with any third party without your written consent. We may reference the general nature of our work with you (industry, type of service) in case studies or marketing materials, but will not disclose identifying details without your permission.

Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement with written notice. If you terminate before completion, payment is due for work completed to date. Ongoing support subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with 30 days written notice.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Franklin County, Ohio.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
